A second cloth is then used to buff the finish. This method gives better control over application and is our preferred approach.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eDirect Spray Method\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe other way is to spray the product directly onto the paint surface. I sometimes prefer this method, for example when cleaning up water marks or runs—it allows for a more intense application on the area you’re working on. This might be psychological, but it works for me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe downside is that when applying outdoors, you have less control over where the product lands. It’s easy to accidentally cover areas you’ve already treated, or get product on glass.
