Our own range is focused on the tools and consumables you get through fastest: microfibre cloths and drying towels, wash mitts, wheel and detailing brushes, bucket sets with grit guards, chemical-resistant dilution bottles, tyre and trim applicators, clay bars, and pressure washer parts including replacement hoses, short trigger guns and foam lances. The idea is that the parts you replace every season should be good quality without carrying a premium brand markup.
Are you an official stockist of the brands you sell?
Yes. CA Detailing is an official stockist for the brands on the site, which now runs to over 50 brands and more than 600 products. That matters for two reasons: you get genuine current-formula stock rather than grey imports or old batches, and warranty or fault claims on machines and tools are handled properly. We also operate a best-price guarantee, so if you find a stocked item cheaper elsewhere, tell us before you order.
Can I collect an order or visit in person?
Yes. We are based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and there is a walk-in store, so you can come and see products in person rather than guessing at a towel weight or a brush stiffness from a photograph. If you want to collect rather than have an order shipped, get in touch before ordering so we can confirm stock is on the shelf for you. Our in-house detailer, Zaim, is usually the best person to ask about which product suits a specific job.
Which CA Detailing microfibre should I use for what?
Match the weight to the job. A high-gsm twisted-loop or plush drying towel is for pulling water off panels in as few passes as possible. Mid-weight plush cloths around 500 to 650gsm suit buffing waxes, sealants and quick detailers where you want no marring. Lower-cost edgeless cloths are the ones to use on wheels, door shuts, engine bays and interiors, where they will pick up grit and be retired sooner. Keep wheel cloths separate from paint cloths permanently.
Do you supply detailers and trade customers?
Yes, we supply professional detailers, valeters, dealerships and body shops as well as retail customers, and trade accounts are available on application. Trade pricing is set against volume rather than a flat discount, so get in touch with what you use regularly and we will put together the right structure. If you are running a mobile setup, it is worth asking about bulk sizes of the chemicals you use every week rather than buying retail bottles.
