Work on a cool, clean, dry surface and apply a small amount with a microfibre or applicator pad, working in straight lines rather than circles on brushed finishes. Do not use it on clear-coated or anodised wheels, since those finishes are sealed and should not be abraded.

CMX Ceramic Spray Coating is a spray sealant with SiO2 chemistry, so treat it as a maintenance product measured in months rather than a bottled coating measured in years. Used with Ceramic Surface Prep beforehand it performs noticeably better, because prep removes the oils and residue that stop it bonding. The 3-in-1 Polish and Coat combines light correction with protection, which suits a car in reasonable condition that you want tidied and protected in one pass.
