How do I apply Yum Dress V2 tyre dressing, and does the dilution change depending on the surface?
Apply Dress V2 neat to tyre sidewalls using an applicator pad. No buffing is required. On fresh or deep-cleaned tyres, load the applicator generously on the first coat as the tyre wall is porous and will absorb it before a surface film can form. For engine bay rubber, dilute 4:1 (water to product). For interior trim and exterior plastic where a stealth look is preferred, dilute 9:1.
What is the difference between the Yum Paint Serum 2, 4, and 6 ceramic coatings?
The three tiers differ in rated durability: Paint Serum 2 is a 2-year coating, Paint Serum 4 is a 4-year coating, and Paint Serum 6 is a 6-year coating. All three are formulated as serums that partially penetrate the clear coat rather than sitting purely on top, creating a hybrid surface. Separate variants are available for PPF and plastic trim.
How do I use Yum Foam+ as a wash-and-seal product in a foam cannon?
Fill the foam cannon at a 9:1 ratio (approximately 100 ml Foam+ to 900 ml water in a 1-litre lance). Foam the whole car and rinse off immediately without dwell, as Foam+ is a wash-and-seal product rather than a pre-wash. Use a double rinse: the first pass removes the foam, and the second rinse immediately after produces tight beading that confirms the sealant layer has bonded.
How should I use Yum Undress and Yum Wheels together for a proper wheel clean?
Always apply Undress to the tyres first. Undress is a high-pH tyre cleaner that turns brown on contact with tyre bloom caused by antiozonants. For heavily contaminated tyres use it undiluted; for lightly soiled tyres dilute to 1:3. After the tyre step, apply Yum Wheels (a 50/50 degreaser and iron remover blend) to the wheel faces. Do not use Yum Wheels on carbon ceramic brakes.
How long does Yum Glass Plus last on a windscreen, and how do I know when to reapply?
Yum Glass Plus contains a polymer sealant that bonds during a 30 to 60 second dwell. On side and rear glass where no wipers make contact, the sealant layer lasts 2 to 3 years under normal UK conditions. On the windscreen, reapply every 2 to 3 months if the car uses a rubber wiper blade on a dry screen, as dry wiping is the primary cause of early sealant failure.
