Frequently asked questions

Why choose Kwazar sprayers over cheaper ones?
Chemical resistance and rebuildability. Kwazar sprayers are specified for the acidic, alkaline and solvent chemistry used in detailing, and the Venus Super Pro+ range is sold in dedicated Acid, Alkaline and Solvent versions with seals matched to each. Cheap garden sprayers fail within weeks on this chemistry: seals swell, the trigger stiffens and the unit weeps. These are also serviceable, so a worn seal is a part rather than a new sprayer.
Which Kwazar sprayer do I need?
For hand-spraying chemicals, the Mercury Pro+ 360 double-action trigger sprays on both the pull and the release and works upside down, which matters for wheel arches and door shuts. For pressurised spraying, the Venus Super Pro+ 1L and 1.5L cover most jobs, and the Orion Super Pro+ at 3L or 6L is for covering a whole car without stopping. The Venus Foamer versions produce foam rather than a spray.
What does the Acid, Alkaline or Solvent version mean?
The seals and internal components differ to suit the chemistry, so the Acid version handles acidic wheel cleaners and fallout removers, the Alkaline version suits APCs and degreasers, and the Solvent version copes with tar removers and panel wipes. Using the wrong one will work briefly and then start weeping as the seals degrade. Label each sprayer for its chemical family, keep it to that job, and rinse it through after use.
What is the point of a foamer rather than a sprayer?
A foamer turns the product into a clinging foam rather than a wet mist, which keeps it on vertical panels and in wheel barrels long enough to work instead of running straight off. That means longer dwell from the same amount of chemical, and less waste. Use a foamer for pre-wash, wheel cleaner and snow foam applied by hand; use a plain sprayer for products you want to apply thinly and wipe off, such as panel wipes and quick detailers.
