The CarPro PolyShave Decontamination Towel is a fast, reusable alternative to a traditional clay bar. Advanced rubber polymer technology bonded to a 30x30cm microfibre towel shaves bonded contaminants off paint and glass in a fraction of the time claying takes, leaving the surface clean and smooth before you polish or coat.

Decontaminating the paint first matters. Removing bonded grit before you polish means you work on a clean canvas instead of dragging tiny contaminants across the finish. PolyShave lifts everything sitting on top of the paint, and a product like CarPro IronX takes care of the iron and tar sitting below the surface.

Unlike clay, if you drop the towel you simply rinse it off and carry on, where a dropped clay bar goes straight in the bin. It also outlasts clay many times over, so one towel covers job after job.

How to Use

  1. Wash and rinse the vehicle first so all loose dirt is gone before you start.
  2. Break the towel in on glass before using it on paint.
  3. Spray the panel generously with a clay lubricant or waterless wash, and keep it wet throughout.
  4. Glide the towel flat across the surface with no pressure, working one small section at a time.
  5. Rinse the towel often to keep the working face clean.
  6. Wipe each section with a clean microfibre towel before moving on to the next.
  7. Polish afterwards if needed. As with any mechanical decontamination, light micro marring is possible.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders placed before 12pm are dispatched the same working day. Otherwise, your order will be dispatched within 1 working day.

Standard shipping normally takes 2-3 working days.

Delivery to some parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight may incur a delivery charge and delivery may be delayed by a few days.

Note: working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public & bank holidays.

How do I return a product?

Our policy lasts 14 days from the delivery date, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unused, sealed and include all the original packaging.

This is probably one of the best dressings out there. It can be used on tyres, exterior and interior plastics and rubber. I use it neat on tyres but you can mix it with water at different ratios for different surfaces. It looks fantastic on tyres. Darkens them up and gives them a lovely matt sheen. Gives plastic trim a darker newer look. Buffs on and off with ease.

It’s the first time I’ve used anything like this to clean my wheels. They really needed it. This product was satisfying to use, BUT THE SMELL!! I’ve never smelt anything quite as vile!
