What's special about Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer?
C4 utilises a covalent or chemical bond to become an extension of the plastic molecule it's protecting. Not to be confused with much weaker electrostatic bonds used by, amongst others, ptfe based polymers C4 swaps part of its molecular structure with the surface molecules of your car's trim.
What this means is that you now have a protective coating of unparalleled durability. Unlike many trim products on the market C4 is an exceptionally thin (circa 30nm) optically clear film which means that it does not add an unattractive gloss film to the surface instead it restores all but the most faded trim to an as new condition. You can expect approximately 2 years from a single application.

FAQs
Q: What does C4 Permanent Trim Restorer do?
C4 Permanent Trim Restorer restores faded or discoloured plastic, trim, rubber, and vinyl surfaces to their original, rich black appearance. It works by penetrating and bonding to the trim’s surface at the molecular level, providing long-lasting UV protection and preventing future fading or discolouration from environmental exposure.
Q: How long does Gtechniq C4 last?
Gtechniq C4 is designed to last for approximately 2 years, depending on the level of exposure to harsh weather, washing frequency, and care. In general, the treatment will remain effective for several months before needing reapplication.
Q: Is Gtechniq C4 safe for use on painted surfaces?
No, Gtechniq C4 should not be applied to painted surfaces as it may leave a residue. Always apply C4 to plastic, rubber, or vinyl trim, and avoid contact with paint to prevent potential staining. If accidental contact occurs, wipe off immediately with a clean microfiber cloth.
