Liquid Elements Terminator V2 Rotary Polishing Machine

Product information

The Liquid Elements Terminator V2 is a rotary polisher for serious paint correction, sanding mark refinement and heavy defect removal. Where a dual action machine wobbles as it turns, a rotary drives the pad in one direction under full torque, which is what makes it the fastest way to level deep scratches and heavily oxidised paint. 1,200W and a speed range that starts at just 1,000 rpm give you the cutting power professionals rely on, with enough control at the bottom end to work safely.

Key Features

  • True rotary action for maximum cut, the quickest route through deep scratches, sanding marks and oxidation.
  • 1,200W motor holds speed under heavy pressure, so the pad keeps levelling rather than slowing.
  • Speed from 1,000 to 3,000 rpm, low enough to start gently and high enough to level hard, neglected paint.
  • 125mm backing plate takes standard cutting and polishing pads.
  • Torque LED shows at a glance when you are loading the machine too hard.
  • Supplied with a UK three-pin plug, so it is ready to use straight out of the box with no adaptor needed.
  • 8m cable reaches around the car without an extension lead.
  • Soft grip body at 2.5kg, controllable through long correction sessions.

Rotary or Dual Action?

A rotary cuts faster than a dual action and builds more heat, so it rewards practice and a steady hand. Use it for the jobs a DA cannot shift, such as deep scratches, sanding marks and badly weathered paint, then refine the finish afterwards with a dual action and a soft pad. If you are new to machine polishing, start with a DA like the T2000 V4 and add the Terminator V2 when you want more cut.

How to Use

  1. Wash and dry the car, then decontaminate the paint with a clay bar or mitt.
  2. Fit the 125mm plate and press on a cutting pad suited to the defects you are levelling.
  3. Prime the pad with four or five pea sized dots of compound and dab it around a 50x50cm section.
  4. Spread at around 1,000 rpm, then raise to 1,200 to 1,800 rpm to cut, keeping the pad moving at all times.
  5. Keep the plate flat and use light pressure, and never let the machine sit still on a panel.
  6. Wipe the residue off and inspect under a detailing light.
  7. Refine with a dual action and a finishing polish to remove any rotary haze, then seal the paint.
