Product information

Bilt Hamber Touch-Less is the new double-concentrate version of the all-loved pre-clean snow foam, which can be applied via pressure washer or with a trigger spray. This eco-friendly, biodegradable sugar-based product provides excellent cleaning power whilst being kind to the environment! 

Now double concentrate, Touch-Less improves the performance and decreases its pH – more concentrate, less to use! Unlike other petrochemical-based cleaners, Touch-Less is "free-and-easy rinsing" which eases the effort of following bucket washes and helping finishing stage products to bond easier. 

Touch-Less is designed to allow for superior and simple application of Bilt Hamber's paint protection product Touch-On.

Touch-Less also contains corrosion inhibitors. pH ~12, contains no phosphates, solvents, NTA, or caustic soda.

How To Use
TOUCH-LESS may be applied with trigger spray, pump spray, pressure washer, or snow foam lance. The minimum recommended dilution rate should be 0.5% PIR (Panel Impact Ratio) and up to 2% for very dirty vehicles. Where application is through trigger spray or pump spray, the dilution calculation is easy to achieve, however, for application with pressure equipment it is essential to determine the amount of water being delivered to the equipment reservoir.

Step 1

Fill the detergent bottle or reservoir (on machine or lance) up to capacity with plain water. Turn detergent feed to full. Take a large bucket or container and discharge the lance into this, watching the detergent bottle until empty. Once empty, stop.

Step 2

The following calculations will achieve 2% dilution; Measure the total amount collected and multiply this number by 0.02 (Total can be measured in either volume with a measuring jug or by weight) this is the amount of TOUCH-LESS to use.

Step 3

Add the calculated amount from STEP TWO to the pressure-washer reservoir and top up to full with cold water and shake in for a few moments.

Step 4

Apply touchless to entire vehicle or panel by panel. Allow to soak for 1-5 minutes (but never allow to dry). Power-wash or rinse off.

It is not necessary to use all diluted touch-less in one wash. One litre of diluted product should last 4-5 washes. Apply to cool panels in shaded conditions. Do not allow this product to dry in use. Keep the bottle neck and lid clean.

Yes. When correctly diluted, used on cool panels and rinsed thoroughly, Touch-Less can be used over ceramic coatings, waxes, paint sealants and paint-protection film. Never allow the product to dry on the surface.

No. Touch-Less is an alkaline pre-wash with an approximate pH of 12. This alkaline cleaning action helps break down traffic film and stubborn road grime more effectively than many mild, pH-neutral snow foams.

Yes. Touch-Less can be applied using a pump sprayer, trigger spray bottle, pressure-washer detergent reservoir or snow foam lance. Whichever method you use, apply it evenly, allow 1–5 minutes of dwell time and rinse thoroughly before it dries.

Bilt Hamber recommends using Touch-Less at a final concentration of 0.5% for light dirt and up to 2% for heavily soiled vehicles.

This final concentration is known as the Panel Impact Ratio, or PIR. It means the percentage of product that actually reaches the vehicle after being mixed with water by your foam lance and pressure washer.

For a pump sprayer, use approximately 5ml per litre for 0.5%, 10ml per litre for 1%, or 20ml per litre for 2%.

Both are alkaline pre-washes designed to remove road film and grime before contact washing, but they use different formulations.

Touch-Less is a highly concentrated, sugar-based formula used at 0.5–2%. It rinses away easily, uses less product per wash and can be applied through a foam lance or pump sprayer.

Auto-Foam is typically used at a higher concentration and produces a more traditional foam with strong wetting and dwell characteristics.

Touch-Less suits users prioritising economy and easy rinsing, while Auto-Foam may suit those who prefer thicker coverage and a longer foam dwell.
