Product information

The Gtechniq Complete Wheel Coating Kit has everything you need to protect your wheels with C5 Wheel Armour, Gtechniq's dedicated ceramic coating for alloy wheels and brake calipers. Panel Wipe preps the surface, C5 bonds to it, and three MF1 cloths take care of the buffing.

Wheels are the lowest point of the car, so they take the brunt of road grime, dirt and brake dust, and many traditional waxes and polymers do not offer durable protection there. C5 is an extremely durable coating that resists temperatures of up to 600°C, repels brake dust and contaminants, and makes your wheels far easier to clean. 30ml covers the inside and outside of wheels up to 20 inches.

How to Use

  1. Wash and decontaminate the wheels thoroughly, ideally with Gtechniq W5 Citrus All Purpose Cleaner and W6 Iron and Fallout Remover.
  2. Wipe each wheel down with Panel Wipe to give C5 the best possible bond.
  3. Shake C5 well and wear gloves.
  4. Apply a few drops to an applicator and spread the coating over no more than half a wheel at a time.
  5. Buff off the residue within 30 to 60 seconds using an MF1 cloth.
  6. Repeat on all of your wheels.
  7. Let the coating cure indoors for 12 hours before exposing the car to the elements.

Take care on wheels with SMART repairs, as Panel Wipe may strip the repaired paint. C5 is not suitable for bare aluminium surfaces, including polished lips. Once opened, use C5 within 3 months.
