Product information

Gtechniq W8 Bug Remover makes light work of bug splatter, one of the hardest contaminants to remove from a car. It is 100% biodegradable and coating safe, and it breaks down insect residue without relying on aggressive caustic ingredients.

Bug remains contain acids and proteins that can etch into paintwork if they are left too long. W8 dissolves them gently but effectively, and unlike traditional bug removers it will not affect the performance of Gtechniq coatings. It is compatible with ceramic coatings, sealants and waxes, and it rinses clean without leaving streaks, smears or film.

How to Use

  1. Shake the bottle well and wear gloves.
  2. Work out of direct sunlight and avoid hot panels.
  3. Spray W8 directly onto the bug splatter.
  4. Leave it to dwell for 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with water, and repeat if necessary.
  6. In extreme cases, gently agitate the area with a MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth before rinsing.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Q: Will W8 damage my ceramic coating?

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders placed before 12pm are dispatched the same working day. Otherwise, your order will be dispatched within 1 working day.

Delivery to some parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight may incur a delivery charge and delivery may be delayed by a few days.

How do I return a product?
