Gtechniq W9 Water Spot Remover clears hard water spots and silica scale from paintwork and glass without harming your protection. The concentrated formula is 100% coating safe, so it is ideal for keeping ceramic coated, sealed and waxed cars looking their best.

Most water spot removers rely on a single cleaning action. W9 uses three: it dissolves mineral salts, traps the metal ions commonly found in tap water, and removes silica scale, which is traditionally the toughest deposit to shift. It works especially well on glass, where water marks are notoriously hard to remove, and it is safe on all paint types including matte finishes, as well as vinyl.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry your car first, and work out of direct sunlight.
2. Shake the bottle well and wear gloves.
3. Spray W9 liberally onto a clean Gtechniq MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth.
4. Wipe it over an area no bigger than 60cm x 60cm (2ft x 2ft).
5. Buff off immediately with a second clean MF1 cloth.
6. Repeat on stubborn marks if needed.
7. Rewash the car once you have finished.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Q: What causes water spots?

A: Water spots form when hard water evaporates and leaves minerals such as calcium and magnesium behind. Rain, hose water and sprinklers can all cause them, especially on unprotected surfaces or when a car dries in direct sunlight.
